Prepare to leave everything behind, as there are no hookups or utilities- never fear, they do have showers. Utilize wilderness survival skills and book during the off season from December through March when only primitive camping is allowed.
Camping with All the Perks – Bar Harbor Oceanside KOA
Bar Harbor Oceanside KOA has it all, and those looking for more of a “glamping” experience will take delight in their on-site cabins. With cabins, enjoy all the amenities of home, including private bathroom, partial kitchen, and sleeping room for 4-6 people. Be warned, camp sites book up quickly, so be sure to make reservations well in advance. Wait until after Labor Day and explore Maine’s campground in the fall for a less crowded camping experience.
