The Berkshires is a haven of outdoor activity, and what better way to enjoy everything the great outdoors can offer than a ziplining adventure? Make it a water adventure with some great whitewater rafting. Take advantage of the rapids right here in the Berkshires! Grab a raft and some friends or family, and go rocketing down the waterways. Check out Zoar Outdoor for a great rafting experience, or if you want something a little more low key, try grabbing a canoe or kayak out on some of the calmer water.
Get into the modern art scene at the Massachusetts Museum of Modern Art. The museum showcases some of the best and brightest art of our time. you’ll see unconventional exhibits that range from comedic paintings to light shows at this fantastic art hub.
Visiting in winter? The Berkshires has great slopes for skiing, snowboarding and other fun winter activities. Hit the slopes at Berkshire East Ski Resort for some fresh powder that’s perfect for racing down the slopes.
There are great parks and reservations all across the Berkshires. Spend the day exploring Mount Greylock State Reservation. Hikers will love the sights as they climb the mountain. If the weather is nice, you can climb to the top of the observation deck for a very unique view of the mountain.

The Berkshires are home to a rich cultural community, and there are plenty of great festivals in the area to enjoy, check out the theatre festivals in Williamstown and Stockbridge for some unforgettable on-stage performances. Or visit the Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival for some fancy footwork.
Visit the awe-inspiring Botanical Garden in the Berkshires. With a vast variety of more than 3,000 plant species, there’s a lot you can learn about plant life with your visit to the garden. You can take a class or attend a lecture at the4 botanical gardens. Check for special events happening weekly.
