Fun Ideas for a Bachelor Party
Plan a bachelor party on Cape Cod
The Bachelor Party has quite the reputation, thanks in large part to movies and television depicting it as a night of careless debauchery. But not every Bachelor Party has to be a drunken blur that will cause tension with your beloved before the wedding. Here are a few ideas for Bachelor Parties that are fun and that won't create a rift before the wedding day!
1) Fishing Charters. You are getting married on Cape Cod, so why not embrace the event and have a Bachelor Party on a fishing boat? Magellan Fishing Charters (based out of Harwich), has plenty of experience with Fishing Charter Bachelor Parties. Beer is allowed on board (what is a day of fishing without a beer?), and Brax Landing is next door, so the party can continue afterward. Magellan also has showers so that the party can get cleaned up (and get the fish smell off) before heading out.
2) A day out on the links can be a grand time, especially if the groom-to-be is an avid golfer. The Blue Rock Resort in South Yarmouth is just one of many places on the Cape that golfers can go to have a memorable Bachelor Party.
3) Spending the day at the shooting range can be another great Bachelor Party idea. The Bass River Rod and Gun Club in Yarmouth Port is one of several spots on Cape Cod to choose from. They have various kind of targets (including steel and skeet shooting), as well as archery (on Tuesday nights).
