Brrr....Warm Up on Cape Cod with a Spicy Burrito
Cape Cuisine
While the Cape isn’t typically thought of as a hub of Mexican cuisine, there are several options available to folks who just want a delicious burrito.
The Corner Store in Chatham has an amazing “build your own” burrito counter, which features plenty of fresh and delicious items to put in your wrap, including black beans, refried beans, pork, ground beef, pico de gallo, and more, as well as a different meat each day (great if you want to keep trying new things). They also have paninis and delectable whoopie pies.
The Corner Store also offers breakfast burritos until 11am.
B2 (The Burrito Bistro) has two locations now – one in Hyannis and the other in Mashpee Commons. With a variety of burritos, smoothies, and other treats, B2 is a great stop if you are in the area!
If you are looking for more of a sit-down location, Sam Diego’s serves up all sorts of enticing Mexican fare. Located in Hyannis, this is a great place to stop after a day of shopping.
For sit-down (or take-out) Mexican fare on the Lower Cape, El Guapo’s in Orleans is well-worth the trip.
The Anejo Tequila Bar in Falmouth is another fabulous stop and you can get some marvelous tequila with your spicy cuisine.
Other spots for Mexican on Cape Cod include the Beech Tree Cantina in Hyannis, Acapulco's in Yarmouth, Andale in Harwich, and BZ’s in Dennisport.
