Sunday July 13 is the Summer Pancake Breakfast at MAPS!
The usual entry fees will apply. This is a special event so no coupons or discounts apply.
The “Grandma & Grandpa’s Attic” exhibition features artifacts from the Museum’s permanent collection from the 1890s through the 1980s!
“Grandma & Grandpa’s Attic” includes objects such as a Kodak “Brownie” camera from the 1910s, an original Monopoly board game from 1936, a Wurlitzer Jukebox from the 1930s, a wedding dress made from a World War II silk parachute, and a Cabbage Patch Kid from the 1980s!
This is an exhibit sure to entertain and teach any generation!
The Eras Exhibit: 250 Years of First Ladies' Progress and Power
Celebrate 250 Years of First Ladies Progress and Power with us!
From the nation’s earliest days to the modern era, First Ladies have shaped American history through advocacy, diplomacy, and cultural influence. The Eras Exhibit will take visitors on an immersive journey through the evolving role of these women across the many eras of the American historical timeline, showcasing how they have redefined leadership, championed social causes, and influenced national conversations.
The centerpiece of the Character exhibit will be a large footprint devoted to the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, the most coveted individual honor in the National Football League!
The display will feature an acknowledgement of past winners, several of whom are enshrined in Canton, along with artifacts related to WALTER PAYTON, PEYTON MANNING, JASON TAYLOR and LaDAINIAN TOMLINSON!
Guests will be provided the opportunity to learn more about 21 points of interest to connect with character!
Come join us for a night of swing dancing and nostalgia at the MAPS Air Museum! Step back in time to the 1940s and dance the night away!
MAPS will serve hot dogs, coney dogs, spam sandwiches, snacks, pop and coffee from 1100 - 1400 in the hangar

The Canton Museum of Art is pleased to present Apeiron, a solo exhibition by artist John Sabraw, which incorporates painting, sculpture, and video!
Sabraw, an activist and environmentalist, ensures his paintings, drawings and collaborative installations are produced in an eco-conscious manner, and he continually works toward a fully sustainable practice.
The result of experimenting is a complex, luminous, mysterious paintings that strike a beautiful balance of controlled and organic processes!
Art & Activism: Perspectives from the CMA Collection
Art and activism often share the same motivations — questioning the status quo, speaking out about injustices, communicating new perspectives, and inspiring others.
From the CMA Collection come a variety of mediums and voices in American art that depict activism in a myriad of ways – sometimes obvious, sometimes not. These artists are harnessing the power of creativity to inspire dialogue, provoke change, and amplify marginalized voices in an ever-changing world.

Michelle Wentling’s fiber art features a collection of botanically-dyed, handwoven wall hangings reminding us of who we were, who we still are beyond a culture shaped by fossil fuels, and who we will be amid a future marked by climate change.
This exhibition is a reminder of origin – of a craft that has long provided a sense of identity and connection to place for many cultures.
The Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition is excited to welcome car enthusiasts for a scenic tour of the historic Ohio & Erie Canalway America's Byway!
Participants will receive a curated itinerary of stops along the route, continental breakfast and refreshments, lunch, a commemorative gift, and awesome prizes and raffle opportunities as a part of their registration package, while learning more about the history of America’s Byway from the comfort of their own vehicle!

The Blues are back in Downtown Canton as First Friday transforms into Second Friday this July!
This event will be packed with Blues Music, BBQ-themed food trucks along with the vendors, free inflatables for kids, and many other First Friday entertainment staples you love!

We will be opening the field just one more time! Come pick lavender or just take advantage of golden hour to get all of your gorgeous lavender photo ops. Perfect for photographers looking for a unique setting!
We will also have live music on our outdoor stage and delicious food and drink at our backyard bar. This event is weather permitting, and please no pets or outside food or drink.
