Massillon Museum presents much more than art and history lessons. MassMu engages visitors in experiences.
In six galleries, exhibitions spanning an array of interests change regularly; the new Paul Brown Museum within MassMu highlights hometown hero, Coach Brown, and his football legacy. New spaces offer artist opportunities and rental venues. The Immel Circus, a 2,620-piece hand-carved miniature circus, surrounded by real circus costumes, posters, and photographs, is a visitor favorite.
A sensory room, where guests of all ages can relax and center themselves, also provides privacy for breastfeeding mothers. Two family restrooms and diaper changing tables in both the men's and women's restrooms add to MassMu's family-friendly atmosphere.
In the Museum shop, OHregionalities, visitors find regionally handcrafted pottery, jewelry, and cards, local history and football books, and children's gifts. The lobby cafe, Anderson's in the City, offers specialty coffees, sweets, and light lunch.

Oscar the skeleton has both scared and delighted visitors since he was donated to the Museum in 1934.
MassMu's collection encompasses over 100,000 objects in 94 categories, including paintings and prints, ceramics, glass, photographs, textiles, costumes, military artifacts, city records, agricultural equipment, Native American objects, quilts, and more.

Students must bring their own mats and it is recommended that they bring their own props. This class is beginner friendly. All ages and levels are welcome. The cost is $6 per class or $15 per 3-class bundle. Register upon arrival at the Museum!
