Don't miss the chance to experience the excitement and beauty of the Kent State University at Stark campus, while hot air balloons float in the sky (weather permitting), on Saturday morning, July 26, for our UP, UP & AWAY 5K presented by OrthoUnited!

This event is for both serious and casual runners and walkers.

Following the 5K run, at 8:50 am, there will be a FREE KIDS FUN RUN. This is a non-competitive fun run for children ages 8 & under. This race is all about fun and friends!

The centerpiece of the Character exhibit will be a large footprint devoted to the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, the most coveted individual honor in the National Football League! The display will feature an acknowledgement of past winners, several of whom are enshrined in Canton, along with artifacts related to WALTER PAYTON, PEYTON MANNING, JASON TAYLOR and LaDAINIAN TOMLINSON! Guests will be provided the opportunity to learn more about 21 points of interest to connect with character!
