The CAK5K on the Runway is an exciting running event around our beloved CAK. This annual race features multiple categories, including an Adult Run/Walk, a Student Run/Walk and more!

Race Features
- One of a Kind Experience running on an actual runway, through the Ohio Air Guard Facility, and a great Start / Finish at the MAPS Air Museum
- One of the BEST finisher medals around
- The Afterburner Zone - a 100 meter race inside of the 5K, located just after Mile 2.2

Come out and enjoy your favorite summer activities like live music, fishing, kayaking, up close wildlife encounters, activities with Stark County District Library or by participating in a pedal boat challenge! This drop-in event takes place at two entrances to Sippo Lake Park (East Entrance off Perry Tyner St.) or (West Entrance off Genoa). The drive is 5 minutes between the two entrances. Free water activities include a 15-minute kayak experience or pedal boat challenge, and more!
