What You Should Know...

Open: Year-Round

Pack layers and appropriate footwear. Summer evenings can be chilly, fall nights can be cold, winter is snowy and cold, and spring can be muddy.

Summer is the busiest season, so visit in the fall, winter, or spring to avoid the influx of visitors.

Be sure to visit the home of the 1969 Woodstock Festival and Museum at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts for a taste of history.

The area is home to one of the largest American eagle nesting populations in the northeast.
