Why You Should Go...
The famous Crystal Cave Park is a natural attraction located in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Pennsylvania's most incredible natural wonder was the first show cave to operate in the state.
Over 5 million people have visited Crystal Cave since 1871, when it was first discovered. The Cave was named after all the shining calcium crystals carved exquisitely by nature throughout the ages. Over centuries, drops of water emerged from tiny cracks in the ceiling, and from running down the wall, the drop of water turned into millions of wonderfully glistening crystals.
The walking tour of Crystal Cave will last approximately 1 hour. So get ready to see thousands of sparkling crystals, milky white stalactites, stalagmites, and dripstone formations.
After touring the cave, pan for gemstones, play an exciting round of miniature golf, grab a delicious meal in the restaurant, get a hand-dipped ice cream cone at the ice cream parlor, explore the museum, and learn about the rich history of Crystal Cave, and take a hike on the nature trail for a scenic and beautiful experience.
