Located on Toronto’s waterfront since 1985, the Harbourfront Canoe & Kayak Centre has become the most popular paddling centre for sea kayaks, big voyageur canoes, and stand-up paddleboards. With the scenic Toronto Islands only a short paddle away, you can relax, learn new skills, and meet new friends.
During the season, choose from a kayak, canoe, and paddleboard instruction and rentals, weekly guided kayak social paddles, guided tandem kayak tours, big canoe excursions, and private lessons for groups. They also offer personal boat storage on the city side and the island. Weeklong kid camps can be booked through Harbourfront Centre.
The Big Voyager Canoe Excursions are back! Embark with one of our certified, experienced guides on a relaxing excursion. Travel in historic voyageur canoe replicas carrying 8 to 18 paddlers, guided through the many channels and lagoons of the Toronto Islands, exploring secluded beaches while enjoying the Island landscape and City skyline from the water.
