A Stone Hill Winery Norton wine was named the “Best Red Wine of All Nations” at the 1873 Vienna World’s Fair and the winery continues to farm a ¼ acre vineyard of Norton grapevines that were planted in 1863.
Stone Hill Winery was the second largest winery in the United States and third largest in the world prior to Prohibition, from about 1870 until 1919!
